Group class meets once weekly, Thursdays, from 7 - 10 pm. Every student is expected to be on time. It effects everyone if you are late so prioritize. The class begins with a meditation warm-up which is crucial for your progress. The discipline is for your development as an artist and as a professional, so we intend to train you to adhere to the same expectations you will meet in the professional world. And you will find it very enjoyable and satisfying to commit to the entire evening. Do this for yourself.
Each student must pay online for the entire month (four classes) prior to the first day of class in the month. No exceptions. If you do not pay, you will only be able to observe until you are able to pay. You will not be excused payment for any absence other than paid acting work.
Each student has one scene for which they are responsible. For that scene you are expected to do several hours of work per week and must coordinate with a scene partner and print copies for both of you. You may also be asked to read with others for their scenes. You are not required to rehearse outside of class, or prepare for the scenes you read for others.
If for any reason you are unable to meet your commitments, you will contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you are aware of your position and inform your scene partner of your delay, absence, or other obstacle.
By entering your information at the right you are agreeing to enter into this social contract with the hope that you will better yourself and your peers by meeting these commitments.
We look forward to you joining our artistic community!
