Scene Study

Each student works on a scene for one month or more, until we feel it has been fully achieved for our purposes in terms of growth. We use challenging writing predominantly from the theater to give us the best opportunity for learning.

We also do productions in various mediums.

I Rise

Adapted from Blind Willie Johnson’s Trouble’ll Soon Be Over and sung by Vicci Martínez (Orange is the New Black, The Voice) this song honors the principle that Every Voice Matters. Each of the artists in this video wrote their own line and filmed themselves speaking or singing it.

Please rise and raise your voice.
